Crashing cars and crafts came together for the opening weekend of the Riverton Rendezvous community celebration. That was last weekend. The Demolition Derby and Rendezvous in the Park arts and crafts fair are done and gone.
Now balloons can fly, 26 of them to be exact, for the 28th annual Riverton Rendezvous Hot Air Balloon Rally.
After reviewing three candidates and conducting a short discussion in executive session, the Central Wyoming College Board of Trustees on Wednesday unanimously picked Colton Crane to fill a vacant position on the board. Crane, a Lander dentist, will begin his tenure with the board immediately as its Lander sub-district No. 4 trustee.
